BE BETTER.
Craig spent his life working to better the lives of his friends, family, and those in his community. As the Community Organizer for Cathedral Community Cares, Craig helped to coordinate various organizations in the New York area to combat the problems of poverty, hunger, and homelessness. Craig also set up the Safe Walk program in Brooklyn, a late-night bicycle safety escort service to make sure women could get home safely.
Craig made sure that he had positive impact on his community, and it is in this spirit of selflessness that those of us who knew him have pledged to "Be Better." Volunteering at a local soup kitchen. Holding a door open for someone. Donating to charity. Getting involved in a political campaign or other cause you are passionate about. Calling a loved one you haven't spoken to in a while. Collecting food or blankets for those in need. Smiling and saying "Hello" to a stranger. Participating in a charity walk/race/bike ride fundraiser. Anything you can do to make sure the world is better off.
